In 2013, the Group won an international competition for the design, construction and installation of the Children's Discovery Museum for the Government of Qatar. The museum, known as the Qatar Hydropower Knowledge Park, is located in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
With the persistent pursuit of architectural art, the excellence of installation works, and the advanced concept of intelligent venue system, we are fully invested in the project and bring high-quality international projects.
The Qatar Hydro Knowledge Park is located in Doha, the capital of Qatar, and is a children's exploration museum that opened in July 2015. As an experiential center for children and teenagers aged 4-18, the park strives to stimulate children's various perceptions through interactive displays, amusement facilities, and performances, and lead them to explore how to live sustainably. The main tasks of MCM employed by the Qatari government include: developing exhibition hall planning schemes; Design and construct an interactive experience area; Write and produce science popularization education videos that run through the entire venue, as well as landscape education guidance signs; Make online exhibition content of the exhibition hall (Internet and mobile phone client); Guide the equipment packaging, shipping to storage, and on-site assembly of all components; Write technical and operational manuals for all the aforementioned projects; Provide training to local operators on all exhibition, facility, and performance projects. This $110 million project took 25 months to plan equipment, design, manufacture equipment, install equipment and personnel training, as well as ongoing maintenance work. There are a total of 42 independent interactive exhibitions, along with a 3D dome movie, an introductory theater, and a dark ride exploring the water cycle journey.
The exhibition hall aims to elucidate the originality and possibilities of architecture, as society is seeking intelligent strategies for sustainable future living.
This exhibition hall provides an opportunity to convey ideal information about the natural world, ecology, and technology to a global audience. Drawing inspiration from complex natural processes such as photosynthesis, the dynamic form of the exhibition hall serves its functions by extracting energy from sunlight and fresh water from humid air.
